Well, I’ve been so intrigued with working with Ultra Fractal that I’ve designed another to be quilted. This is it in black and white. I’ll keep you posted on the progress and the colors that I’ve chosen. I’m working from the center out.

 I’m also working on my quilt of my dog. I was 6″ short of the border fabric and had to order some more from on line because the local store was sold out. Don’t you just hate that!

It was such a beautiful day here in the Chicago area, 60 degrees and counting, that I didn’t get much work done. I did square some quilt tops off that I have been working on. The first being my fractal design. On the top left is the computer print, then right and bottom right are both airbrushed, and the bottom left was appliques. I’m not sure which I liked best. I guess I’ll decide after they’re quilted. I also couldn’t decide if I wanted to add mirror images to either the top or bottom, but when I did (I did this in Corel Draw), I felt the design looked week because of too much information. I guess it would have made a lovely traditional quilts with a center medallion type image, but that’s not what I’m after. I want to call this piece, ” Brain Storm”. It reminds me of that, once the idea strikes hot,the light does on!

I’ve also been working on a quilt of my dog, Hamilton and this is the top for that.
