This quilt was created from a photo I took. I airbrushed and hand embroidered detail on the blue heron. The brush in the background was fused and machine appliquéd and quilted. I used green tulle to create the swampy water, and silver lame for the water. This quilt was juried into International Quilt Fest, Chicago, “Celebrate Spring.”
