This was a fun quilt to make. It was done spontaneously by cutting and adding primary colored fabric strips to create differnet sized blocks. Using primary colored fabric strips together  was quite a contrast from the color palette that I normally use and the blocks appeared "loud" to me. Hence the name "Primary Cacophony". The embroidered motiffs were a pattern from the "Sewing Basket". I have no idea of the pattern number or year as they were acquired from an auction, but I am assuming the pattern was from the sewing basket as the magazines were in the purchased box.
