The background for this quilt was deisgned by pouring paint onto a sheet of mylar and printing it directly to the fabric. It'a very creative and spontaneous way to do a background that lends itself to the imagination. After veiwing the fabric from all directions, I decided on a position that looked as if there were a field of flowers.
