This Captain Jack sparrow costume was a commission piece using Simplicity's Pattern#4923. I made the coat, vest, and sashes (not a pattern piece). My client and I selected fabrics with a rough texture to give the character a ruggedness. I lined the coat for a more finished look. The vest was also lined and had a lower hem line in the back with a tie. The pants, shirt, and accessories were that of my client.
