This quilt was inspired by a photo that I took of my husband. It was to show how stressful thoughts can get lost into the blue.
Hand and machine appliqué using various fabrics. I airbrushed blue fabric paint in the sky to create more depth. I also painted some of the clouds. I used tulle to tone down the water and to hold little pieces of fabric in free motion Quilting. This quilt was juried into Quilter’s heritage Celebration Show in Lancaster, PA.
